Meet A/Prof. Kelvin Teo
Dr. Kelvin Teo is a senior consultant ophthalmologist practising at the Advanced Eye Clinic & Surgery. He sub specialises in retinal conditions and diseases. He graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry and obtained his PhD in Medical Research for age related macular degeneration from the University of Sydney.
Dr. Teo completed his ophthalmology specialist training at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), where he practiced for over 15 years. He holds two fellowships in Medical Retina—one from SNEC and another from Sydney Eye Hospital, University of Sydney. As an adjunct Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and a lead researcher at the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI), Dr. Teo has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and received numerous grants, including the prestigious National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Transition Award. His research focuses specifically on retina conditions, especially age related macular degeneration.

Doctors consultation: $150 - $250SGD (dependent on nature of visit, first consult or follow up)
Retina scans: $150 - $1000SGD (scans may include optical coherence tomography, retina photograph or angiogram - this depends on severity and stage of disease). A typical follow up visit with minimal scans will be about $150SGD.
